Gawker points out that the gays are being shut out of Obama’s Cabinet.

First he booked an anti-gay pastor for the inauguration, and now the president-elect is expected to shut openly gay candidates out of the two cabinet seats they had a shot at.

If you think the left, gays included, were pissed off with Obama shutting them out of power before, oh man, just wait until the Wall Street Journal’s report about Obama’s Labor Secretary (who was supposed to maybe be gay) comes true:

I actually think it’s silly for Obama to consider appointing someone because they’re gay, or even taking that component into consideration. Being gay doesn’t qualify someone for a job any more than it disqualifies them, obvi. But the gays did show Obama a lot of love during the election, despite his opposition to civil marriage equality. At some point, he’s going to have to start loving the gays back.
